Whitestone Estates is a waterski community; we are not skiers, but we enjoyed watching small groups of people skiing on the water and having fun.

With the easy access to highway 515, you can easily commute into the city for your job.
We dont ski, but we have loved living at Whitestone! We have enjoyed entertaining guests and holding dinner parties on the beautiful covered porches on the upper back deck.
We actually released butterflies on the back deck and watched as they found the wildflowers growing on the hill sloping down the backyard
As you wind up a gentle winding road to the home, you will notice the driveway is not steep and is easy to maneuver with ample parking for multiple vehicles in the circular driveway consisting of slate stones. An enclosed storage area is large enough to accommodate your boat and camper.
You are greeted by a large covered front porch with rocking chairs to enjoy shady afternoons in the summer.
As you enter the home, the hand scraped wood floors in the foyer flow throughout the main level of the home and the open floor plan. With the vaulted tongue and groove wood ceiling in the living room, gas logs in the fireplace, and exquisite trimwork, you will feel cozy and right at home!
The living room flows to the dining room making indoor entertaining a breeze. In addition, french doors open to allow people to enjoy the views and breezes overlooking the lake.
If you love to cook, you will love this kitchen with a gas range, drawer microwave, large refrigerator, and huge farmhouse sink with a garbage disposal. The stainless steel appliances are easy to clean and elevate the style of the kitchen. In addition, you can show off your pretty china in the glass cabinets.
A large laundry room with additional cabinets is adjacent to the kitchen and conveniently opens to a spacious over-sized garage that easily accommodates two large vehicles, a chest freezer, and a refrigerator.
The owner’s suite with a tray ceiling is a retreat in itself with a french doors that open to a large screened porch.
The master bath with a huge garden whirlpool tub and walk-in shower has plenty of space to enjoy bathing and dressing. It holds many cabinets for all those hair and make up products that we can’t live without. There is a room for the toilet for more privacy.
The walk- in closet with a fixed storage system containing drawers and wardrobe accessories, makes organization a breeze.
Located at the opposite end of the home, you will find a a large wood wainscoating -paneled lake view office, complete with a huge desk and built- in shelves that will certainly appeal to those fortunate to enjoy a work from home career.
Opposite the office is a jewel of a guest suite to make your guests feel like royalty. A full bathroom is located between the guest bedroom and office.
A large bonus room above the garage allows for a playroom or an additional bedroom.
Downstairs, you will find lakeviews from 2 more bedrooms, 2 more dens, 2 more bathrooms, and the gym.
There are multiple storage areas, closets, two more full bathrooms, and room for a small kitchenette.
My favorite room is the speech office. As a former speech pathologist, I enjoyed keeping my books and toys in this special room. I am excited to take these to our new home close to our grandchildren to enjoy many hours of playtime. Perhaps, you can turn this special room into your own private library!
If you enjoy waterskiing or would love to learn to waterski, you will enjoy access to the two ski boats. For a small additional fee and boat training lesson, you can have use of the boats to enjoy skiing at your leisure. The community has been very accommodating in teaching both children and adults to waterski.
If you don't waterski, not a problem; you will enjoy the serenity of looking out almost every window to a beautiful turquoise lake view and leisurely walking around the lake and gated, safe neighborhood. Swim and sunbathe at the beach area beside the pavillion. The beauty of nature surrounding this property and the abundance of privacy with no other homes within sight of this home, offers the tranquility you have been seeking from living in a busy city or crowded neighborhood. You can also use the community pavilion for your own private gathering with a reservation.
This home is such a hidden gem and I hope it matches with the right person who can truly appreciate not just the home, but the inviting community, skiing not required!
